YAOYOLO Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the conditions for using YAOYOLO (hereinafter referred to as "the App") and constitute an agreement between Miraibox Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and users (as defined in Article 1). Please read the following carefully before using the App.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These Terms apply to all users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") of the App. Users must agree to these Terms before using the App.
In accordance with Article 548-4 of the Japanese Civil Code, the Company may revise these Terms by notifying Users via the App of (1) the intention to change the Terms, (2) the revised content, and (3) the effective date, or by any other method deemed appropriate by the Company. However, if the changes may significantly affect Users, the Company will give prior notice within a reasonable period.

Article 2 (Provided Services)

The App provides Users with free access to video content (hereinafter referred to as "Distributed Content"). The content may be changed or discontinued at the discretion of the Company.

Article 3 (User Environment)

Users shall, at their own responsibility and expense, prepare and maintain the necessary communication devices, software, and internet connection to use the App.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in the following acts while using the App:
  1. Infringement of copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
  2. Interference with the operation of the App
  3. Unauthorized access or reverse engineering and other forms of technical analysis
  4. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  5. Defamation, slander, or invasion of privacy of the Company, other Users, or third parties

Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to the App and Distributed Content belong to the Company or the rightful owners. Users may not use Distributed Content beyond the scope of private use as defined by Japanese Copyright Law.

Article 6 (Suspension or Restriction of Use)

If a User violates these Terms, the Company may, without prior notice, restrict or suspend their use of the App.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable for:
  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content (particularly as the Distributed Content is based on interpretations and representations of myths, records, traditions, cultures, and religions within Japan)
  • Interruptions, suspension, errors, or malfunctions of the App
  • Troubles between Users or between Users and third parties

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The Company shall appropriately handle the personal information obtained from Users in accordance with its separately established Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law, and the original text shall be in Japanese. In the event of discrepancies between translations and the Japanese version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
Any disputes arising in relation to the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
